The 36th Annual Quad Cities Youth Conference is delayed until 2022.
The Quad Cities Youth Conference has been serving Scott, Rock Island, and surrounding counties for 35 years. Due to the coronavirus health crisis, regulations on group gatherings, and adaptive school protocols, there will be no Quad Cities Youth Conference in 2021. The Planning Committee has voted to put our community's health first and focus instead on 2022's conference. Partners, donors, and in-kind supporters will be contacted later on as 2022 planning begins.
The Quad Cities Youth Conference's mission is to provide youth with opportunities to establish contacts with community resources and enhance decision-making skills necessary for living in a socially complex world. We are excited to serve in new ways during 2021 and start planning for QCYC '22.
Mission: Provide youth with opportunities to establish contacts with community resources and enhance decision-making skills necessary for living in a socially complex world.
The Quad Cities Youth Conference is an annual two-day event enjoyed by youth in the Quad Cities community. One day is dedicated for middle schoolers, the other for high schoolers.
Students create their own workshop schedule. Workshop topics have included: gender labels, stress management, internet safety, jobs and education opportunities, seeking help, prescription drugs, resilience, and suicide.
